A petition to label the anti-Trump group "Antifa" a terrorist organization sped past the requirement of 100,000 signatures needed to get a response from the White House.

The petition says Antifa's "violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States" earns it the terrorist designation.

"It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions," the petition reads. "Just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety."

I disagree with one aspect of the article.

Antifa is not anti-Trump. They are plainly anti-American.

Their goal is to bring down the nation. Much like ISIS.

They are anti-Trump. They are also anti-American.

Up to 221,000 now. Still has a way to go to reach the the 1.1 million who want the president to produce his tax returns. I'm sure both are going to happen.

    Silly comparison.

Trumps tax returns haven't killed anyone, rioted or destroyed anybody's property.

Silly comparison? The whole presidential petition system is silly. Five million people signed a petition to have the Electoral College elect Hillary instead of Trump. Hmm. Didn't happen. Two and a half million signed a petition to shut down a dog meat market in China. So far are I know they're still eating authentic Chow Mein. More fake news.

Absolutely. For the reasons noted. Don't let your dislike of Trump rob you of your good sense.

Defending it makes it even sillier.

I am so rebuked I can hardly stand myself. Presidential petitions are silliness. You can collect hundreds of thousands or millions for anything. Your objection is a circular argument. But you like chasing your tail.

So everybody was real big on the "both sides" are bad comment from Trump. It's interesting to observe the threads on this board. It's pretty odd which one gets the most attention.

I am so happy to humble myself in the presence of your infinite graciousness, oh Master of Illogic. If I should ever disagree with you again, please feel free to offer another non sequitur so that I might smite myself and thank God that you are ready and willing to set me straight so that I might no longer sin against his holiness The Trump. Looking forward to it.

4th post defending your one silly comparison. Sign of a thin skin.

You made an off hand silly comparison and got called on it. Get over it.

Done with you here. Not worth spending any more time on.

    You get the last whine.

The system ensures a response from the whitehouse. The response could just be "no".

LOL. So if Trump refuses to name the aunties terrorists, what does that do to the "he secretly supports the NaziKlansmen" claptrap ?
