    In the spirit of the critter theme. The picture is from this evening.

    Since our pup Molly died two months ago, the local squirrels have been more friendly. For the last week and a half, I've been tossing them peanuts. It has become a normal practice for one in particular to come running up to me when he sees me outside on the bench. He won't quite take it out of my hand, but he's close.

    Arbo, we used to have a pet squirrel. She was a rescue, and we raised her from a baby. Best pet we ever had!
