    I am into photography as a hobby. I have done some nice stuff, and won a few awards, but these days I haven't picked up my camera in eons and don't even talk about my darkroom, Oh, I mean storage area for everything I don't know what to do with!

    When I had the time, I loved it. In New England, there are tons of places to get a great shot.

    I have a digital camera, and take quick shots, with it, but unless they stop making film, I won't stop using my film camera. Detail detail detail...

    What about you?

    Digital Photography

    I like photography. I got some great pictures in Tennessee and Charleston, SC. Mine is mostly digital, though. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get the best deal on digital prints?

    I used to love to take pictures--still do, but haven't had the developing ability. Got lots of wonderful photos!

    If Panoramio was up at the moment you could see where I took some of them, but it isn't.......SO WAIT! :tongue3: :laugh:

    I used to be a professional photographer a long time ago, got out of it. I just received a Nikon D-80 SLR FROM MY wIFE FOR cHRISTMAS AND THE LEARNING CURVE IS STEEP COMPARED TO THE OLD FILM CAMERAS i HAVE. Sorry for the caps left them on. LOL I also have a Hasselblad medium format camera. Trying to get back into it. Which involves more money :) Can't wait to hear what everyone uses and get some pics posted.

    Photography was a snap when I could afford it

    . . . digital may come of age in a decade or two.

    But, digital is much better for snap shots - it is cheap.

    Give snapfish a try. I like their service and the pictures come out really good

    Nice pics, I still have to get used to my new digital camera. Long time ago you just set your f-stop and the camera picked the shutter speed and you just composed the photo, and now it seems like it takes sooooo long to get everything set up to shoot the pic. These new digitals are almost too smart. LOL
