Please pray for my mother.

    She is in the hospital. She had a urinary tract infection and those can be bad for older people as the signs and symptoms just aren't there when you get old.

    She also has a lung disease. Her reasons to go to the hospital were temperature rising at night, terrible night sweats, and blood pressure falling.

    They've run every test they can and everything shows nothing wrong. The doctor is stumped as to the cause of the fever and low blood pressure which has her weak, weak, weak.

    He is calling in an infectious disease specialist who is looking over all her data.

    She just needs your prayers.

    that is a major relief. I find it draining when you want to help but it is out of your hands.Prayer asking for God to give the doctors wisdom on treatment options, and have the Spirit give your Mom the peace that passes understanding in the trial.

    My mother is grievously sick. She has Covid again. She is in the Covid ward and I can only see her from 2:00 to 2:15. And I have to wear all the safety gear.

    Please pray that I can speak to the doctor or at least her nurse.

    It's like a nightmare.

    And please don't anyone else ask me if she is a Christian. She is. Asked and answered now twice.

    I can understand how you feel. My mom is 89 and has been hospitalized twice recently. Once with u.t.i., the second time with both pneumonia and u.t.i. Will pray for your mom and your own peace of mind.

    Scarlett, I am sorry and I am especially sorry that the diagnosis is Covid. The isolation and controversies and all the other mess that is part of Covid makes difficult things not just more difficult, but surreal. I have no background or experience to draw from to know what to do in this new world. We are with you and you are not alone. That is all I have to offer. Sorry!

    After a horrible bout with Covid, my mother is now in a nursing home receiving much needed therapy.

    She has a ways to go, but I pray she can come home in a 3-4 weeks.

    Thank you for your prayers and please continue.

    Covid is NO JOKE and is making it's round in Louisiana again. One death in the community today and another young and healthy man suffering in the hospital with it.

    Scarlet, I am so sorry that your mom got sick again! I am glad that she is improving and might come home soon. I am praying.
