Poll: Fox news most trusted for television news

A Quinnipiac poll of 1286 registered voters released Monday shows that Fox News is the most trusted television outlet for news. Fox News earned the trust of 29% of those asked which network they trusted the most. MSNBC came in dead last at 7%. The once legendary broadcast networks, CBS News, NBC News, and ABC News flamed out at 10%, 10%, and 8%, respectively.

Left-wing cable news network CNN came in second with 22%.

I generally don't put much stock in polls like this unless they show what their breakdown of registered voters is.

Didn't you post some sort of link a few months ago that showed where each side got their news. The left leaning side seemed to have a more varied response while the right was mostly centered around FoxNews if I recall correctly. So, naturally people are going to vote for whatever they watch which kind of renders the poll useless don't ya think?

The lamestream media are no longer considered trustworthy. Half the market has gone to cable news. NMC is now considered suspicious thanks to Brian Williams. Dan Rather took CBS down with him. ABC was always last among the big three. Fox has not been around very long but they try to report accurately and they carry stories that the others ignore. That has made Fox very popular and very profitable. The others are economic basket cases because they only want to carry liberal Democrat news.

FOX News makes a good living reporting the news the corrupt old media refuses to report on ideological grounds.

No wonder they are popular with people interested in the complete story. Even they fail at times as well.

They all stink. I wish there were one source that you could go to and they just report the news AS IS.

I don't need your commentary. I don't need you reading between the lines for me.

Report the NEWS.

People are tired of the lies of ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and CNN with their slant to the Democrat Party and their refusal to report anything they are not interested in. That is the reason that Fox found a niche for people who were interested in the rest of the story. If the lamestream media had done their jobs, this would never allowed Fox to get rich off them.

The unmentioned story here is that people are turning away from ABC, CBS, and NBC forever.

Found a niche for people who wanted a network to tell lies favoring the GOP. Oh well................but then it is about money and not news and certainly not about the truth.

When the Democrats controlled the media, they censored the news. Journalists are about 90% and liberal by their own admission.

It will be interesting to see if Hillary executes the 47 US Senators and seizes control of the media as Chavez/Maduro did in Caracas.

Right. So I wonder how many folks are tired of the lies from FOX and their slant to the GOP? Must be all the sleazily dressed women got FOX viewers thinking they aren't being lied to.
