What does this verse have to do with a "secular" judge or the fact that she is being threatened by a cult?

The flood gates are open in Texas when this same court ruled against sodomy a few years ago. The ruling has opened Texas to all types of sexual depravity.

Hassel said the ruling, based on due process arguments rather than equal protection laws, would push out new areas in privacy. "This is going to carve out protection for private sexual behavior," Hassel said. "As long as it's between consenting adults, this ruling would appear to cover it."

In this case of polygamy the consenting adults are signing off on their under aged children to marry.

    NOTHING!

My views? It is a sad world when something like this happens...

I praise God for a woman that stood up for what was right.

    Tim,

This judge ruled in favor of returning these children to a polygamist cult.

Does anyone on here think it is ironic that the court would go after a religious commune, for what was believed to be sexual impropriety with children, when Planned Parenthood can withhold information from parents about their children's sexual promiscuity and distribute condoms in the schools?

That is apples and oranges... .While both the cult and Planned Parenthood are Fruity!!!, Planned Parenthood is not raping children...

Don't get me wrong... I would love for Planned Parenthood to disappear because I feel they are a modern branch of Eugenics;... and their abominable practices of promoting sex...

But.. this thread has nothing to do with them.

Actually the OP in this thread seems to side with the depraved cult instead of the Judge.

And all because of his bias toward women.

The fact that if she would fulfill her biblical role as a woman, she wouldn't be in this situation. It seems she can not even fulfill her role as a judge, as the higher courts had to rule over her -- so I'm not surprised. Then, in turn, she stretched her power as far as it could go to not sign the papers to release the children.

I think that's like praising God for the shape America is in today. One, He had nothing to do with it. Two, he hates it (Psalm 5:5). And thirdly, in my opinion, it's nothing a Christian should rejoice over considering she is in violation of scripture. Since when was such worthy of praise?

    Yep...

Gotta keep them thar womenfolk barefoot and pregnant!!1

YOur degrading views of women from this thread and others are disgusting to me...

One day, hopefully you will appreciate the gifts that God has given women.

If God gifts them, they had better use it.

Then you're going to have to take it up with God, Tim. The scripture is posted for you to read and so is the chapter and verse number. You can go either way you want to - backwards and frontwards - read it until you understand it.

I'd like to add that they are God's views on a woman; I just obeyed them like He told me to do (John 14:15). This isn't anything usual to me because God told those of His that if the world hates you, remember they hated me before they hated you (John 15:15).

I never said that women had to walk 'round barefooted and pregnant. This is the kind of allegations that are taken to press when certain "offended" people open their mouths about issues they don't agree with. The puzzle fits together whenever you support the people that made up false allegations about the FLDS church. Should someone actually defend their constitutional rights, I assume you think you must make us false allegations about them too?!

Bring it on, Tim. I feel God is watching over me.

Posting Scripture out of context is horrendous...

Prove that Paul was thinking about women judges.. (I guess Deborah was a mistake of Gods, huh?)

When properly interpreting a text, you must take into count the cultural aspects of the text...
That text has nothing to do with women being judges...
It has everything to do with unlearned women keeping their mouths shut...

And BTW, unlearned children should do the same.

Was it proven that children at the compound were being raped or is this just another instance of someone making a baseless claim, i.e. Tinytim?
