Not that a liberal would understand but this president has made a habit of developing policy on principles not polls.
What is really tragic the culture he created in all incompetence let the citzens of New Orleans down because of stubbourness and living his
Presidential life in a bubble purging all people
who speak "truth to power" and surrounding himself with sycophants and yes people.
So you have an insider that has spent their life next to Bush? Incredible how much Bush haters seem to know about the man that the people working for him don't.

However even if true... if you think that is the tragic thing about this whole mess then your head is planted more deeply in the sand than anyone might have imagined.

The most tragic thing here is that the disaster by eliminating the restraints of brute police force revealed the net moral results of liberal social engineering and the entitlement mentality.

When you tell 4 or 5 consecutive generations that those who earn wealth are oppressors that owe you a living... why are we shocked and surprised at the looting, property destruction, and general mayhem?
The consequences equal bad performance and loss of trust with the citizens of the United States of America.
Bad performance? Wow. What will probably go down as the worst natural disaster in our country's history overwhelmed our resources and preparations... and what we get from desperate liberals is political opportunism. Why don't you all just spit on the victim's graves? It would demonstrate every bit as much respect as to use their deaths to do political damage to a man that you hate for reasons other than any failures he may have had relating to this catastrophe.

Bush was late to the dance and better late than
never. Now he is hinting we may not be protected
from a terror attack ..now that has been the
big brag from bush apologists that we are apparently safer under bush(baloney). Bush created and
the crony filled FEMA has shown how abysmal and
incompetent the emperor is without his clothes.

I refuse to enable this guy to continue to be
a bad performer in his duties and be quick to
let him off the hook ..that has been his entire
life people feeling sorry for him and he just
goes on to make another mess.

People suffered because of his late to the dance
antics and living in a bubble.

I am for an Independent commission to look into
it all and I do mean all, but it will not surprise
me if bush continues to have those moments
"BIN LADEN INTENDS TO ATTACK WITHIN THE UNITED
STATES" and he continues to read 'My Pet Goat'
while the United States of America is ruined .

Yeah compliment him on finally doing the right
thing whether it be because of polls and stinging
analysis or because he was moved of the Holy
Spirit...he is a political animal and that is
what he is best at...survival, but to continue
to enable this man and let him off the hook time
and time again while the country goes to ruin is
wrong and people need to quit making across the
board apologies for his bad performance.

and what of the last FEMA DIRECTOR another bush
crony Joe Albaugh ..sucking up taxpayer money
drumming up business..he was on site within days
trying to get contracts and they will be given
to him since he is a crony and an insider.

This bush culture is in a bubble..the bush era
started on 9/11 in fact that is what made him.
The bush era needs to close and he needs to
reach out to his father to save his legacy and
take on some of his fathers people and clean
house and they need to keep a close eye on
W.

If bush does not capture or kill Osama Bin Laden
or handle the Gulf reconstruction with wisdom
he will go down in history as the worst President
in our History...like I said to save his Presidency he needs to reach out to his father
and bring his people on board...James Baker would
be a good start.

Don't sweat it ASLANSPAL the elite go through guys like Clinton and Bush faster than congress can throw our money at all their "failures".

We make mistakes so we can get more funding and more control so we can make more mistakes so we can get more funding and more control so we can make more mistakes so we can get more funding and more control so we can make more mistakes so we can get more funding and more control...so one fine day we can come out in public and order you to give us your guns and do as your told.

Oh wait, we're doing that now!

Just give up your property, put your kids on drugs, give up your guns and do as your told, trust us we're the government.

And remember militarized police with black masks, foreign troops in America, national ID's, random checkpoints, cameras on street corners, mandatory mental screening for your children, illegal immigrants, mercury in vaccines, secret monitoring of your reading habits, unanounced searches and implantable microchips are gooooooooood!

Yes poncho they have done enough messing up
poverty is now front and center...a lot of
cronyism is very expensive.

I think the NRA put out a statement on the
confiscation of guns, and I heard that soldiers
were threatening the press because they are taking
pictures of all the dead bodies in NOLA my goodness we cannot have a free press showing us
the truth now can we.

Noticed Joe Albaugh the former head of FEMA had
his hand out down there in NOLA. If anything they
should tar and feather that dinosaur and run
him out of town ..oh and not to mention the
Blackwater mercs showed up as well...3rd world???

And remember militarized police with black masks and German submachine guns, American troops with UN Blue patches on their berets, foreign troops and mercenaries on American streets, national ID's, random checkpoints, cameras on street corners, mandatory mental screening for your children, illegal immigrants, mercury in vaccines, secret monitoring of your reading habits, unanounced warrantless searches and implantable microchips are conservative and what freedom is all about!

So quit yer whiney complainin you communist liberal!
