Only a creature like you would say that. How do you square Trump lack of moral character with his political positions? Do you totally ignore them? I’m serious here, the guy cheats on his wives with other women and with whores. So that’s OK with you? Paula White is a trusted spiritual advisor & that’s OK with you, his track record with staff members and that’s OK with you? His plans for a full scale military march in DC is OK with you?

Is it any wonder why our youth are opting out of anything to do with the established Christian church? No consistency.

Had this nation elected a man like Scott Walker, who has a moral character, is a conservative and I’m certain would of implement tax reform and brought on Gosuch... but it didn’t, it chose a loud mouth brainless, morally corrupt decoy as the leader of our nation... so what’s that say about us as a country and what’s that say for us as Christians?

You might want to reconsider rewording that sentence.

I can interpret your writing pretty well. For instance, my translation of the above is: Why? You understood it.

Evangelical support for President Trump seems to be based on a false dichotomy, that we as Christians are required to choose a political candidate when neither option is truly godly.

It is true that Mrs. Clinton's support for abortion makes her clearly unacceptable to the majority of Evangelicals, it concerns me equally--and should concern us all, writ large--that President Trump has demonstrated a remarkable disdain for the already-born. And any regard he has for the things of God is coincidental to his own ambition.

It should by now be obvious that we cannot legislate morality because the true version of that attribute is solely a function of the Holy Spirit, the same Holy Spirit that is appears to be entirely absent in the life of President Trump.

Our hypocrisy is indeed one of the key reasons that our churches--many of them--seem to be dying. We have embraced conservative political ideologies even when those secular conservative ideologies are at odds with the message of the Bible.

OK admittedly I slaughter the English language when posting.

BTW you have a point in that critics of Christianity would say we have an immoral God.
e.g. He destroyed the world in the flood of Noah - men, women (pregnant as well), children, babies, animals...

    But Noah found grace...

And what would be the nature of the fruit produced by the Clinton machine had Hillary been elected?

IMO Eight more years of progressive liberalism and we would be a communist plutocracy.

Yes it was the lesser of two evils and I voted for the lesser, President Trump.

As long as it is understood that the lesser evil is still evil.

I suspect that you are older than I, but in my lifetime, I was alive for Watergate, remember the Carter Administration, and served in the military under Bill Clinton. Yet the Republic stands.

And simply because one voted for him does not require that one then supports every ungodly thing he has ever done, and it certainly doesn't require calling him "godly" or "honorable" or even a "good man" when he clearly is none of those by any metric one would choose, except that he is anti-abortion. Calling him Pro-Life gives far more credit that he deserves when he has discarded wives as often as some change socks, has had numerous extramarital affairs and denied housing to minorities.

I was in the US Air Force under the Kennedy-Johnson Vietnam era (no combat).
I am a former Yellow-Dog JFK Democrat. Both major parties today are disgusting to me.

By voting for Trump my hands are clean of the blood of the innocent babes ground up like hamburger.

Jesus is my affliction but thats really the wrong word......more appropriate is Passion, Confidence, my Lord & Savior. Can Trump say that?
