Trump is supposed to give a speech tomorrow [Thursday] at noon about the acquittal.

Please pray for him. He could show some grace and class and draw people to desire unity or he could act a fool.

Pray that God will direct his words. We need to move on.

I hope he nails Romney to the floor and stomps on him. The Democrats just attempted a Coup. They deserve no grace. I personally want no unity with those evil, un Godly devils. I seek no unity with the enemy.

I am hoping that Romney's Republican constituents in Utah will dump him in his next bid for the party's senate nomination. The news commentators keep talking about Romney's defection as a surprise. I don't think anyone is genuinely surprised by it. Romney is jealous of Trump for winning the electionin 2016 whereas he was unable to win in his bid for the office. Romney is also still pouting because Trump wouldn't make him secretary of state.

I do not recognize God using President Trump as a uniter of Americans. I see God using President Trump more in accord with Psalms 2.

The Democrats are grossly depraved for one for reason. Their war against this foundational truth, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." They push anything goes evil theologies of Coexistence and Interdenominationalism. I see no signs whatsoever of any retreat from this. In fact, as Pelosi demonstrated, and even greater resolve to defiance.

I think that Romney may be the de facto leader of Mormonism. It is a strange cult. Joe Smith called himself a king and had a large number of men under arms--rivaling the US Army which was spread out over more territory. Like many others, I am sorry that I voted for him. He probably will not be up again until 2024 when he may retire. You are right that the people of Utah are unhappy with him. Trump should carry Utah in November, which I am sure that you agree that he will. I'm pushing 80 so I probably never will see Utah. Romney asked for Trump's endorsement in the Senate race, which Trump gave him and helped him win the Utah primary. Never again, Romney, never again.

Romney is a wealthy man. I sincerely doubt he cares. He will survive... maybe even succeed politically in the future.

I agree with you. He said that he needed Trump to win the Utah primary. Trump was nice and gave his endorsement. Mitt should have had a family emergency and missed the vote and saved face. I think that his political string is running out although it is impressive. I actually liked his Dad better. His wife was an Episcopalian before Mitt dragged her into the cult of Mormonism. I feel sorry for her to have sign away her salvation like that.

the Mormon church is one of the largest and richest Cults in the world, so Mitt problems would be mainly due to him being influenced by those "demonic forces in high places"

Good question. I watch "Polygamy What Love Is This" on YouTube and Doris Hanson often says that Mormon Judges in rural Utah will not give Mothers the custody of the children when the Mothers flee the polygamy cults that are so viscous and powerful in part because many of them are tied to organized crime. Also, elderly men like me except they have money unlike me marry underage girls very easily in rural Utah. Quite a mess. Mormonism has a lot of money nowadays--$100 billion in a tax-exempt investment fund and still raking it in from the people near destitution.

I was disgusted that the President used the Prayer Breakfast this morning to slam the Democrats and Pelosi. That was not the place or time.

This was the point of my original post that has now gotten lost.. This is what I fear from President Trump. A childish temper tantrum that escalates the divisive hate in this nation.

Don't misunderstand me, I think he can and MUST go after the Democrats and go after them hard. But the prayer breakfast this morning was not the place.

I get it. Some folks like yourself do not like his way of doing things. I don't always like what he says but I do like that he fights back. He has 90% negative news coverage only because they do not like his agenda. They started this just as soon as he became the Presidential nominee.

He has had to deal with more opposition than any other President in our day. With all of that he needs to be able to fight back. I believe he could temper things bit but he is who he is.

I do not believe that calling his response to all of this a temper tantrum is appropriate. It comes across as trying to paint him in the worst possible light. It certainly isnt grounded in truth. My experience with you is you are usually more tempered than this yourself.

I think you should watch it if you're interested in knowing the truth of how he handles it. You may have to eat some crow, but the truth is better than ignorant pre-judgment.

It would be irresponsible to let this coup corruption go unanswered and unaddressed. This should never be allowed to happen again!
