I won't vote for people like this.

The GOP spent a lot of money getting him elected over several more conservative candidates.

The GOP seems to be purging itself of conservatives.
Before the election, 59% of likely voters self-identifying as Tea Party adherents gave him favorable ratings. From the looks of the final vote, several of them voted for him. He got endorsements from National Right to Life and the National Rifle Association. While in the NC senate, he was named national “Legislator of the Year” by the conservative American Legislative Exchange Council. Scroll down the "Meet Thom" page on his website to get his stand on the positions. Either he's real good at lying -- not impossible, I know -- or he is a conservative and is the guy to beat Hagan. I'm not sure this guy can be rejected just because he has establishment support. We've got to win back the Senate. Let's get 'er done.

Establishment! Tea Party! Reminds me of that old "lite" beer commercial.

The establishment tastes great! The tea party is less filling! Tastes great! Less filling! Tastes great! Less filling!
