In my opinion, the pro-athletes boycott of games is unwarranted, and uncalled for. It is merely a publicity stunt, and it may in fact hurt professional sport teams even more when they get back to playing the sport they are making millions to represent.

I think this form of racially based activism has no place in a professional sport venue/event! And, I would appreciate your views and opinions on this punitive act by the millionaire kids in Nike's? Personally I do believe this is acceptable in sports entertainment! Maybe, just maybe the "zebra's" should throw a red flag for an unsportsmanlike penalty; giving the fans the ball on the pro's one-yard line with four chances to run it in for the needed six points to give these cry-babies a huge loss when it comes to loyal fan base.

I am not angry with their choice to boycott at least one game. I am merely disappointed because this has no place in a pay-to-play sports event. WHAT SAY YOU?

I stopped watching pro sports on TV years ago.
    Too many commercials,
    Outrageous salaries,
And much more important things to do.

Yes, it is being done for publicity. It's too bad that black people's cries for changes to the system have gone unheeded for so long that they must resort to tactics such as these.

It is telling that pro sports ownership is putting out statements supporting the athletes.

It's ridiculous. If I did not go to work because I did not like something in the news that would be an unexcused absence and I would be disciplined.

Yes, that's why it's significant that the team owners are supporting the players going on "strike".

They sympathize with the players and agree with them that change is way overdue.

I support their right to protest.
I don’t support their use of their work place as the platform.
If they want to protest, then don’t show up for work and go elsewhere.
People tune in or attend to watch them perform, not protest.
Same for singers giving concerts etc.

they’ll soon realize they’re entertainers. And people will find other ways to be entertained.

As for watching, I stopped watching pro team sports years ago.
Stopped baseball, my favorite, this year.

    Done with them.
