    Chain of movie theaters are allowing parents to buy a special "R" card that will allow holders to go into an "R" rated movie without a parent.

    Parents say most "R" rating is for violence/action and that kids (age 13-17) are able to make good decisions.

    GIVE ME A BREAK.

    I'm amazed. You mean there are movie theaters that actually check ID's? I admit that I went to several before my 17th birthday and never once got carded. I thought it was something that was there but no one paid attention to.
