Radicals to say if your home's 'green' enough?

I'm far more concerned about the ramifications of this executive order as relates to the federal budget, federal intrusion into state and local affairs, etc., than I am about whether or not this "task force" has a say in whether my home is built "green" enough, as implied by the WND article. This is Fox's take on it:

The executive order establishes a task force of state and local officials to advise the administration on how to respond to severe storms, wildfires, droughts and other potential impacts of climate change. The task force includes governors of seven states — all Democrats — and the Republican governor of Guam, a U.S. territory. Fourteen mayors and two other local leaders also will serve on the task force.

All but three of those appointed are Democrats. The task force will look at federal money spent on roads, bridges, flood control and other projects. It ultimately will recommend how structures can be made more resilient to the effects of climate change, such as rising sea levels and warming temperatures.
---
Critics of the order charge, among other things, that it groups together everything from forest fires to heavy rains as evidence of climate change - despite scientific testimony from both sides of the debate.

“The devil is in the details,” a former senior government official said to FoxNews.com earlier this month, referring to a recently released study that proposed the streamlining between Federal and State agencies. “Who gets to decide what sustainability is? Or what its outcome means?”
As the FoxNews.com article points out later on, this order ...

  • ... can be an excuse for the federal government to refuse to pass government money on to states and local communities unless they comply with various standards and agendas set by this task force.
  • ... would enable the Great Pretender to order sweeping new land use regulations that will countermand local use zoning ordinances.
  • ... clamps down on the use of climate data and, regardless of opposing viewpoints, allows the government to use that "data" to reorder priorities for virtually every aspect of government.
  • ... could even bring about the "deemed necessity" of a new internal government oversight department that might rival Homeland Security is size.
This EO needs to be repealed by Congressional vote, which of course will be opposed at every turn by the socialists calling themselves the Democratic Party, and vetoed by the Great Pretender. This order, Benghazi, the ACA, the IRS/NSA/ABC/XYZ scandals of this administration are not just tearing this nation down, they are setting the stage for dictatorial rule by the Great Emperor cum Pretender.

This order, in fact, has the potential to become a greater scandal than all of them combined. It's time to do something about this tyrant-wannabe and his ruling class. Perhaps it is time to exercise our First Amendment rights to seek a redress of grievances.

There was a thread not too long ago about things that would lead to states leaving the union and open revolution. This proposal is a good example that nudges us along that road.

Also -

The soon to be resurrected Cap and Trade bill (AKA the Tax on Thin Air bill) will require everyone to calculate their Carbon Credits (or debits).

A couple of years ago, the calculation was online and I calculated about $1500.00 per year in carbon payments in the form of hard cash or credits for my household.

Its based upon your utilities, miles driven per year per vehicle, travel, etc...

There's alot of fraud being sold to us as one crisis or another these days.

Don't know about you but I find it strange that all the solutions being rammed down our throats all boil to giving the global elite and their govt minions more money, more power and more control.

Can it all be coincidence?

The power to tax is the power to control

Another reason for the Automatic Electronic Tax - everyone pays the same low % rate- no exemptions

In a sociology class (or was it anthropology - I forget) I read a piece which made the thesis that socialism was inevitable.
The basic tenant was that as the population growth became greater and denser in the large cities, survival skills changed and people became less dependent upon each other to survive through trade and barter on a personal basis.

As the city dwellers depended more upon manufacturing and service oriented jobs in the big business world, they left behind their hunter-gather-shepharding and barter survival skills and became more and more dependent upon the cold and impersonal government for protection until it finalizes into a cradle to grave proposition.

The industrial and technology revolutions have accelerated the process.

Thus - socialized medicine - which IMO is the undeniable signature of a socialist nation.

However as Christians

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Don't get me wrong, like many others at the BB I'm a veteran and I want to legally preserve our republic from all enemies both foreign and domestic as I promised.

But as a representative government, if the consent of the governed is socialism (either through choice or stupidity) then that is what we will have.

I see it as problem reaction solution. The elite have a solution they want to push on us. They know we won't accept. Like say a global carbon tax. So they create a problem "man made global warming" to cause a reaction. In this case "fear that we're all going to die" if we don't do something about it. Then in rides our globalist saviors on white horses with the solution they already had in mind. A global carbon tax to be paid to them. What do they get out of it? More money, more power and more control.

The globalists play this game on us over and over till they have everything and we have nothing. Couple examples, the banker bailouts and the Iraq war. There are many other examples but I'm sure you can figure out what they are on your own.

But Poncho, if they wanted more money wouldn't they just crank up the printing presses?

Oh, ok, maybe they are running out of printing materials.

Another example is a rumor of a road tax on top of the federal tax on gas.
But then every car would have to have a GPS installed.

Hmm, then they would know every place I go as well

AOBTW, Cap and Trade will ultimately end with restrictions/regulations on your personal travel if you don't pay up (and maybe even it you do).

Let's see - Credit/Debit card tracking my finances, all my medical issues (Obamacare & the IRS) tracked and recorded along with my 1042's, NSA listening to my phone calls and recording everything coming and going on my computer, Tax on Thin Air (AKA Cap and Trade), Road Tax tracking my road comings and goings...

Ah, brave new world comrades...

Looks like Huxley was right about a future "scientific dictatorship" eh Hank?

Check this out . . .

Government documents obtained exclusively by Infowars expose massive DHS domestic spy grid designed to track citizens in real time through mega government databases.

The Seattle Police Department announced Tuesday evening that it will begin temporarily deactivating the city’s massive wireless mesh network following a major document release detailing the network’s expansive web of surveillance abilities.

“The wireless mesh network will be deactivated until city council approves a draft policy and until there’s an opportunity for vigorous public debate,” Seattle Police Spokesperson Sgt. Sean Whitcomb said.

What they really mean to say is the network will be deactivated until the people have been properly conditioned to accept it.

And Brzezinski as well.

“The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities. ” Zbigniew Brzezinski, Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era

Welcome to the brave new Orwellian technotronic total spy grid police state dictatorship Hank and remember "if you see something say something."
