Thanks to Our Lord for rain!
Things have been very dry in our part of Wisconsin. Mrs. Arbo and I garden, so we have a considerable investment in our plants. I usually spend 45mins every day watering 98 potted plants, and a few beds. This summer, I've been averaging about 1:15. The soil of flower beds that I have been watering every day has still been showing cracks. Yesterday, the grass made crunching sounds beneath my feet. I have started watering trees.
Yesterday evening it rained. One inch. Thanks be to Our Lord!
