I'm having trouble discerning how to view him---someone I know attended a Ligonier conference in which he was a speaker--and even wrote a book with many prominent Calvinists, including Stephen Nichols, but a quick google search labels him as anti-Calvinist...his ministry website states that he does not subscribe to either theology but states that it is a paradox, in regards to God's sovereignty vs. free will.
It would shock me that the most prominent Calvinists would associate themselves with someone who rejects Calvinism...if indeed he does reject it, as they always seemed to have extreme views and stances on the subject, from what I've seen.

His emphasis is apologetics and I have found his radio shows to be very interesting.

Right. He contends for the faith against various other worldviews. His primary role is not soteriology, but apologetics. His role may be similar to Roman Catholic philosopher, Peter Kreeft, who expounds on various philosophical arguments for the existence of God. I can support his arguments, yet not agree with with his soteriology. I think it would be similar with Ravi Zacharias.

He has fallen lately. He seems to have been involved in some type of inappropriate relationship

He has some crazy stories which I find amazing if true. Seemingly.

Until you provide substance, your claim is hearsay and gossip at best.

He definitely runs in Calvinist circles. Maybe most people see Calvinism as a secondary doctrine and dont disfellowship over it.

I would say gossip. Unless evidence is offered, I say its sinful gossip.

I'm always a little hesitant to believe rumors, gossips, and even opinions of legal documents from people who are foaming at the mouth with glee in the reporting of them as the author of this article seems to be doing.

That article is from 2017 - not currently exactly news

The last article in Baptist Press about Ravi was Jul 2018 and was about him speaking at the SBC annual convention.

    From the website:
"My name is Steve Baughman. I am a San Francisco lawyer, musician and some-time-part-time philosophy graduate student. I am an atheist and I have been known to post videos at YouTube as the Friendly Banjo Atheist."

I suggest we pray for Steve Baughman, that God might soften his hard heart.

Though he had no physical contact, he did have photo and emotional contact through correspondence.

That he admitted to such and paid 5 million to settle is evidence that is not disputable.

HOWEVER, he effectively has dealt with the lusts and showed wisdom in accountability.

Because the lusts were not consummated, and because he has been (best I can tell) honest with family and media, there is no Scripture rebuke he should endure.

Rather, as all of us, there should be in place a network of accountability in which confession of weaknesses is made and unified strength is received.

Any believer without such a network should seek one.
