For those readers who have a Red Robin as a dining choice, remember to choose a school to donate a portion of your bill. It's linked to your loyalty card. IIRC, it's around 10 percent. I send mine to Maranatha Baptist Academy. MBA is a part of Maranatha Baptist University.

I look at the program as a painless way to send some funds to Watertown.

Amazon.com has a "smile" program that sends a portion to your favorite organization as well.

I didn't know this. Thanks brother. We don't frequent that restaurant, but it is a good thing to remember the next time we feel like having those good Red Robin never-ending french fry basket.

We've been there too many times, never heard of this, obviously never been offered it. Now we know.

IIRC, I spotted the offer when I was looking my loyalty account at the Red Robin web site. I think I was checking on how many more burgers I needed to get until my free one.

    I have it go to my son's school, it's 1/2 of 1%

Not a lot, but beats a kick in the head

With Red Robin, it's a full 1%. Unless, they are running a limited time offer. I've seen it go up to 5% for a limited time.

I would get a loyalty card, and select where I want that portion to go, and that's it?

Yeup, the website has a list of schools from around the country both public and private, secular and religious affiliated. I don't have a physical card. I use my cell phone number.

Looked at NKC and didn't see your school. I'd check with your local Red Robin and find out how to get them listed.
