Reid's senate health plan: Abortion fee!

Harry Reid is a piece of filth. I'd hate to have to answer to God for what he's trying to do.

He's put back in the "abortion fee" in the "Public health plan" (read: socialist healthcare).

I guess babies don't need healthcare.

Christians, call on your senators. Let them know you plan to make them unemployed if they vote for this God-forsaken piece of garbage.

And if you're like me...anticipating that you will likely lose your insurance...then pray about civil disobedience. I'd go to jail before participating in such an ungodly plan.

I was thinking along the same lines. If this passed as is, and my employer switched to the government plan which I pay for...this means I will be forced to pay for abortions?

And is it true that if I choose not to take this government plan that I could subject to jail time?

I am going to ask these points as questions rather than assume them. Does anyone have any documentation that can connect these dots?

As someone who supports a viable public option that people can choose if they want to use it rather than a private plan and is also pro-life, I have to say that I oppose any bill that will cause government funds to pay for abortions. The issue of protecting unborn life is so important that I would be willing to not have healthcare pass if it would cause federal funding of abortion.

There is no constitutional warrant for the federal government to be providing a "public option" - with or without abortion coverage.

By the way, has anyone checked their private or employer-sponsored health insurance to see if any abortions are covered by it?

It should be noted that any government run system is going to include abortions eventually. They may not include it right away in order to get it passed - but it won't take long to get the abortions up and running.

For that reason it needs to be opposed now - before it gets started at all.
