Republicans for planned parenthood

Pro-choice Republicans ...

Supportive Republicans are working every day in every state to make sure that their voices are heard across the country. In a number of states, Planned Parenthood was started and supported by Republicans; in addition, a number of Republican presidents have demonstrated strong commitments to federal family planning programs that provide affordable access to birth control and other preventive care.

We believe that women’s health care decisions are personal and private, and should be left to a woman, her family, and her faith with the counsel of her doctor — AND without government intrusion. The nearly 3 million patients that Planned Parenthood health centers see each year aren’t coming because of politics — they are coming because they care about their health and their lives. They come for cancer screenings, Pap tests, birth control, and STD tests.

QUOTES FROM REPUBLICANS:
In 1969, then-Representative George H. W. Bush proclaimed, “We need to make family planning a household word.” And, President Richard Nixon led the charge, pushing for Congress to increase funding for family planning, “No American woman should be denied access to family planning assistance because of her economic condition.” The Republican Party is a big tent with a proud history of defending individual rights, and they should continue this proud tradition by supporting women’s right to make their own health care choices.

Republicans have a long history of supporting women’s health and quite a few were outspoken advocates. Check out what they had to say in the quotes below:

You realize this was before Roe vs Wade ?

I'm betting that vetting the rest of your "research" will yield similar results.

George Pataki.
Olympia Snowe.
Rudy Guliani.

Again, not a single current republican lawmaker named as pro-choice.
