Right Wing, Left Wing

    OK, so my debate/discussion pals won't think I have abandoned them, I will be away from a computer, on vacation for the next week starting tomorrow!! Yippeee!

    SO, to keep this on topic, my plane has a right wing and a left wing. Both are needed to fly the plane. So no matter which wing you favor, be thankful for the other wing!

    My favorite kind of wing? Buffalo, of course!

    P.S. May the Lord watch over us all.

    I'd rather have two of the "right" (correct) wings than having one "left" on the ground.

    Yes, I know that it sounds like the correct course...

    But, two right wings would have the right orientation to provide lift. :D

    Seriously, though... As much as I hate fighting with Liberals...

    That fight is in itself therapuetic and provides the "Weight Training" reistance to keep the "Right" healthy...

    Without the 'fight' one of two things will happen...

    Either the "Right" will become the Extreme Right"

    And, if you don't believe that consider what Lord Acton said, which unfortunately has been proven true no matter how altruistic a leader has started out being:

    "Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely"

    The other alternative is the "Right" will become fat, lazy and complacent...

    Niether of which is where we want to be...

    If a stranger tells you there is fire coming out a window in your house you would, of course, check it out...

    Even if told, falsely several days in a row.

    That is because the cost of ignoring the risk is simply too great...

    But, if a Liberal tells us something is stinking in our ranks we ignore it?

    And, it's not just one man's house at stake here...

    It's every mans house...

    Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

    And, note, please, I made no mention of any intent to make it a "Left Head" that flies or directs the 'bird' of State. :D

    This is one reason I actually think having the looney left on parade is a good thing. They remind us why we never want them to actually gain too much power in our country. Every time I see 15 minute Sheehan, War Criminal Kerry, Sen. Hicup Kennedy, Richard Durbin, Ward Churchill on display in public, it gives me hope for the future. :D
