Romney convinces Billy Graham

Convinced him of what? Here is the statement:

"Our primary focus at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has always been promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” Barun said in a statement. “We removed the information from the website because we do not wish to participate in a theological debate about something that has become politicized during this campaign."

So, that statement reflects wisdom and a sound decision.

Here is the key point for Christians in the linked article:

"Surveys show that most evangelicals do not consider Mormons to be Christian, but most still support Romney’s candidacy. The GOP nominee will need a strong turnout from evangelicals, who tally a quarter of the electorate, to defeat President Barack Obama on Nov. 6."

I'm very disappointed with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association on this one.

Mormonism is a heretical sect (call it a cult, I don't care) of Christianity that opposes an orthodox understanding of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They are divisive and heterodox. Just because one of their bishops is running for President doesn't make their beliefs any more suitable for Christian consumption.

No, not outright. But tacitly he did.

I disagree. It is reasonable not to want to get their organization caught up in the politics and talking points. It was nothing more. You being so altruistic I am surprised you would buy into that.

How many times has the point been made about Romney's faith? If you do not like it that much, then don't vote for him, that simple. Were you and Zaac in the same class you took at seminary on Mormonism? No doubt it had some extra super duper secret material that all the rest of us never received, and of course, that being the case, we have no idea about Mormonism.

I do not how many times this has been posted, but there are plenty of pastors on this board who are voting for Romney, and my guess is they are just as dedicted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as you.

You do like to repeat ideas, don't you? Do you ever record a sermon, then just play it back to the congregation a month later to make sure they got the idea?
