    Well, there are three choices:

    Obama, Mr. Ultra-Liberal...

Romney, Mr. Slightly less liberal in Conservative camouflage,

and Ron Paul, a consistent, principled conservative.

That's probably what it would take for Paul to overtake Romney.

    Agreed

When someone over states characteizations that do not actually reflect reality in order to demonize someone they lose credibility. Romney is not a conservatives first choice, but to say he is only slightly less liberal than Obama is far from the truth. There is a world of difference.

Principled is questionable given his past controversies that he refuses to address realistically. I love his domestic views, his foreign views are out in space. But given his past I do not trust him. When you are in public office you have to be willing to give far more explanation than he is willing too. In fact his dismissive attitude reminds me of Obama. He is very arrogant.

And yet the people seem to agree with him more each day. Imagine that.

Ron Paul is neither principled nor consistent.

    He's an lying extremist hypocrite.

Only those that don't know any better.

I'd rather support a candidate that is willing to let us solve our own problems by getting government out of the way than one who looks to government to solve all our problems.

Which type of candidate is Romney?

I think this idea that Ron Paul has 'won' Iowa or 'won' Washington state is pure conjecture. Maybe he has those delegates, maybe he hasn't. I think we all need to wait and see what happens when these state's delegates actually vote at the RNC in Tampa

One either wins a contest or one does not. Read your own signature.

The person that the state delegates vote for at the Republican National Convention is the candidate that won that state.

    Agree or Disagree?

Uh, completely disagree. According to RNC rules, delegates may vote for whoever their conscience tells them to vote for, and cannot be bound by any state level convention to do otherwise.

FYI: 11 states and counting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqVkf8aW7AE

I didn't state my question very clearly. Who the delegates actually vote for at the RNC convention will determine whether or not a candidate has 'won' them. In other words, we have to wait until Tampa when they take the floor vote to REALLY know which delegates support which candidates.

I think that is true to SOME degree... however, when a particular candidate puts up a list of delegates that are "approved" by that candidates campaign, it is fairly likely that they are ardent supporters of that individual. So, for example, when Nevadans elected 22 delegates right from the Paul campaign list, it is likely that Paul will have those 22...
