Rue McClanahan dead at 76

    I purchased the Golden Girls Season Two on dvd just yesterday. Not a dvd set I aspired to own but it was on sale at Walmart for $13.00, and I liked the show, so I got it. Then I wake up this morning to the news that Rue McClanahan has died. Of a brain hemorrhage no doubt. The same thing that, in the past two weeks or so, almost killed Bret Michaels and did kill Gary Coleman. I guess it is true what they say, it comes in threes. Its a sad day for her family, friends, and fans.

    First Estelle Getty in 2008, Bea Arthur in 2009, now Rue McClanahan. All three back to back in three years! Now there is a GG reunion in heaven!

    Golden Girls was a great show. I still watch the re-runs occasionally.
