    Speaking from a pastor's POV, I would suggest that the person speak directly to the pastor about it. Be open and honest, discuss how they feel and why they feel that way. The Pastor can explain why he did what he did. It could be that they reach an agreement. Too often we try to explain to ourselves why someone did something and get ourselves all worked up and come to a conclusion without the facts. When all we need to do is discuss it one on one the way scripture instucts us to.

    I like what thegospelgeek just said.....

    Set up a meeting with the Pastor. Don't gang up on him.

    Ask him why he said that....and explain that you want the job of telling the kids the truth yourself.
