    She's a babe!!!!???

    She's a babe! , She's a babe! is that all you have , my goodness how do you think that makes Kay Bailey Hutchison feel or Libby Dole feel.

    She's a babe! just doesn't cut it only for the shallow crowd, she is mother, she is wife , she has a great personal story but to really just blurt out and say She's a babe really would come off sexist to her.

    She belongs to a Feminist group that does not appreciate that kind of talk.

    if you really read deep her Wiki profile she is a pragmatic , she has navigated
    a line, and she must address the investigation against her and today!

    again congratulations to her, I like her but will not vote for her , could I live with her as one heartbeat away from the President with little experience , yes , I could.

    just as I could live with Barack Obama as President being a hub, inclusive of having the best and brightest surrounding him and at the end of the day making
    the hard choices.

    Republicans: 1 yr exec experience + however many yrs McCain has on legislature

    Democrats: However many yrs legislative that Biden has, + 1 yr legislative for the presidential pick

    Come up with something that actually disqualifies her, that doesn't immediately fall back on Obama's inexperience as well.

    What are her accomplishments? I can't find a list... I'm sure the media will put one together soon...

    I'm hate to say this, but shouldn't she be taking care of her 4 month old child with down syndrome? Is now a good time for her to take time away from family? Seems like she is greatly needed at home.

    I will give you that Fundy,Fundy, extreme person that will not vote for her

    I think this minority is growing smaller and smaller with advent of the "New Evangelical" or the "Rick Warren Evangelical" but we have all met them and you are lucky to get a word in edgewise.

    The so called "the little woman should stay at home and take care of the kids" fundy, fundy, fanatic.

    here is the person I am talking about a clear example dealing with a Christian woman, again we have met this person and you just roll your eyes.:rolleyes:

    That's why I said I hate to be the one to bring it up but it seems she has a child that really needs a mom. I'm not trying to be sexist but it will appear someone else is caring and raising this child.

    Hey, she has executive experience which Obama has none. She has run a government. Obama hasn't. Short time governorship running a government is more experience than being around part-time to vote on laws, any day! :laugh: A great day for the sisterhood of Women in general!!

    Watching her live, I will have to back off and recant a lot of my initial impressions. She is a great pick and really personable. She brings youth to the ticket and impresses me as a really great person. I have to also say this is another historic day for America, no matter which party wins, it will be a great testament to how far we've come as a nation.

    Good job McCain... :applause:

    You know Ken, she has an impressive list of accomplishments as Governor of AK and has a perspective and view I can live with. She appears to be in touch with the common person and has a realistic view of what needs to be done. She appears to not just be all talk, but a person of action. I think I have now moved to the ranks of the undecided and will have to really give this one some thought...

    Leadership qualities. She will be tutored by someone (McCain) who has proudly served and her son is currently serving. All together, that is a lot more than Obama's credentials to be CIC. And because she is a mom with a son serving, she would not be prone to send our troops into battles without a strategic end game plan.
