    New York State Dept of Ed, has ordered schools to stop using Indian mascots -- Residents have filed formal complaints.

    Actually one of the biggest critics of the Washington Redskins was Ray - the CEO of the Oneida (NY) Indian tribe. BTW, the local school is know as the Oneida Indians. One other bit of info -- I woked for the Oneida Nation - during our training - which in part was about the Nation - was that the Oneidas preferred the name Indian over Native Americian.

    That's about Stupid. It's funny that the Cherokee N.C. Indian, reservation high school mascot is the "Brave".
    If they were in N.C., would your commies make them change it?

    Remember, we are talking about NY State - every statewide elected office is a D as well as 19 out of 27 Congressmen.
