    Jude 3-4

"Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to continue your vigorous defense of the faith that was passed down to the saints once and far all.
    4. For some people have slipped in among you unnoticed. They were written about long ago as being deserving of this condemnation because they are ungodly. They turn the grace of our God into uncontrollable lust and DENY our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." ISV

I used the same reasoning KJVO do in passages like a poster on here post. And also their famous Psalm 12:6.

Let me correct the errors in the above text.

    Jude 1:3-4
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
    (KJV)

The only problem with that ending, Dr. Bob is the fact that the person using it as their signature line doesn't show that love. :( Sorry, but I felt it needed saying, even if it was in a blunt fashion.

Au contraire, the person, a sister named michelle, does show love...a deep, abiding love...for her Saviour, His words, and for the brethren. If you'd only understand as I do... ;)

It is so nice to see people attack someone who is not present. Michelle, remember these verses.

Psalms 31:15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

    Michelle,
Keep the faith and the fear of the Lord. And remember also Ps 31:18-19 - 18. Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. 19. Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! And most import vs 24. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Remember our hope is in the Lord, and not in the man.

Howdy! My sis, Michelle, is attacked whether she's here or not. That young lady has taken more abuse than even I could stand, but she's stood firm and always shown grace. We both fear God and have a respect for Truth. She sure knows how to debate (do battle) well.

Not present? What does that mean? This is the internet...don't worry, she'll be "here" before long. And BTW, this is hardly "persecution," compared to what the persecuted saints went through (and are going through).

Your sis, Michelle, is as much "here" on this thread whether she chooses to post to it or not.

Granny Gumbo:Howdy! My sis, Michelle, is attacked whether she's here or not.

    She brings it upon herself.

That young lady has taken more abuse than even I could stand,

    That's because she's told more than one flat-out YOU-KNOW-WHAT.

but she's stood firm and always shown grace.

In the days of the Watergate scandal, that was called "stonewalling".

We both fear God and have a respect for Truth.

Then, why accept a lie such as KJVO?

She sure knows how to debate (do battle) well.

Actually, she knows how to type a thousand words w/o saying anything...avoiding answering...trying to change the subject...posting scriptures that have nothing to do with the topic...in other words, typical KJVO vacuousness. While I view her as a Sister-In-Christ(as I do YOU), she's really in over her head in the versions thing, as she simply cannot provide anything to support her views besides personal preference.(which there's nothing wrong with.)
