    Really, Madam Secretary? I thought you worked for the American people. Aren't Republicans part of "the American people"?

    And that thanks to no one on the Senate Foreign relations committee having the guts to challenge Hillary when she uttered those idiotic words.

    I just found this online. I had not seen these clips juxtaposed before, but they are powerful. Eric Nordstrom's "response" to the political appointee permitted to call herself "Madam Secretary" is the perfect answer to these fools in power right now who think they can slough off responsibility with rhetorical and fustian 12-second soundbites:

    Actually, a smooth working system would have been nore effective in quieting the Republicans.
    It would have had the opposite effect of her excuse.

    That's the difference it would have made.
