Sen Bob Dole (& former President Candidate) passed away on Sunday, 5 Dec.
Lt Dole was wounded while serving with the 10th Infantry Division.
Since WW II he has been disabled with a seriously wounded arm.
In 1986, Sen Dole was in attendance during the re-activation of the 10th Mountain Div at Ft Drum
(the same day the 6th Inf Div was re-activated at Ft Richardson, Alaska.)

Mr Dole was a patriot, and a RINO. We could never repay him for his service. He voted for many of the things I believed were good things. But, he also made mistakes. I remember when Newt was trying (circa 1993-4) to re-establish the House as the entity that controlled the purse strings, Mr. Dole cut the legs out from under him.

But the bottom line is Mr. Dole stood for many of the right things about our country, and people like him, who would do what they thought was right, no matter the cost, are very much needed. Well done, Bob!
