Why is the government even messing around in this area? I have scoured the Constitution high and low and have yet to find the Constitutional mandate for the government to be concerned with this issue. No wonder we are trillions in debt!

The Senate bill, which passed through the House as the American Health Care Act, has been retitled the “Better Care Reconciling Act of 2017.” It is being done as a reconciliation bill so it will only require 51 votes to pass the Senate.

If passed, the bill would see serious cuts to Medicaid expansion established through the Affordable Care Act; however, the Senate's version would phase this out more gradually than the House version.

CNN reports that the bill would cut the individual health insurance mandate, as well as give states more flexibility to waive regulations from the Affordable Care Act. Additionally, CNN reports that the bill would implement “a one year block of federal funding for Planned Parenthood.”

It will probably flop.

There is a least one RINO (actually nevertrumper) who will remain unnamed who will probably shoot down ANY bill which will make President Trump look better even if its a gnat's eyelash better.

Name will become evident after the Fake Vote.

It doesn't matter what they write.

No national healthcare act will succeed without a mandate. One of the reasons Obamacare failed is because the mandate was too weak. ( Before anybody goes nuts, I believe a mandate is unconstitutional, but John Roberts said otherwise.)

A lot of young healthy people will not buy insurance. They will take a free ride on the system until they are older or come down with something like heart disease or cancer before exercising their "no pre-existing conditions" rights.

But the sick ALWAYS buy insurance.
