I am continually amazed at how stupid so many politicians are. It is hard for me to believe anyone would send a text message like the one that caught this fellow. It does not matter which party ... it is just plain dumb.

I send sexually graphic texts to my girlfriend all the time. Then again, I've been married to her for several years now, so maybe it doesn't count.
I am, however, of the opinion that, if more spouses sent each other sexually graphic text messages on a regular basis, the divorce rate would drop dignificantly. :wavey:

What amazes me is how one political party full of pagans, charlatans, and adulterers has convinced mainstream evangelical America that it is their only hope for political action.
Yes, it is rather amazing ... and they used to crow about being the 'family values' party. Not my family values, thank you.

Look at the whole Carrie Prejean thing, she's not the kind of person we want representing Christianity...period. She lives a very immoral lifestyle, but what happens when she speaks evangelicalese?
Scholarships, speaking opportunities, press, applause, affirmation as an example for younger Christians.
We have a serious identity problem in evangelicalism. A serious problem.

I don't particularly share the view to the same extreme, but to answer the question, she engaged in premarital sexual activity on video. That's inappropriate behavior for a Christian role model.
Yes, we are aware that your values include gloating over the sins of Republicans.
Sin is sin regardless of the political party. But it was the Republicans who bragged about being the party of family values. Not smart, though it did bring them lots of votes ... at least for an election or two.
With all of the gloating that you do about sinners who happen to be Republican it appears that you have taken on the mantle of keeper of family values yourself.

I admit, I am a sinner ... and I expect more of myself than of any pastor I will ever have. And no, I do not criticize my pastor, but support them. If I have any reason to be unhappy with anyone I keep it to myself. They have enough problems without my adding to them. What they, and all of us need is not condemnation but love, understand and fellowship.
Are you a sinner? Do you expect more of yourself than you do of others?

Then why do you take such delight in pointing out the moral failings of Republicans - but not Democrats?
Tell me, Crabby - do you see a similar hypocrisy in someone who is a Christian, travels to other countries to do missionary work, preaches the Gospel and still voted for the presidential candidate that promised to promote abortion?

No ... there are many issues in a national election. Abortion is only one.
No one should be a one issue voter.
Being in favor of preemptive wars and killing innocent people is another issue.
