They took long enough to mention the hiking took place half a year or more after the injury.
I have an old injury that sometimes hurts a lot, two decades later, but it didn't stop me ALL the time. So what she claims and that she is hiking both make sense.
I just can't figure out how she feels she is owed 5 million. Life happens. I got my injury at a public park, but all I felt was stupid. LOL People seem to sue all over the place for having to experience life. If everyone who fell off the monkey bars sued and won, the world would be broke.

She has been raised to feed at the public trough and feels entitled to all she can get by any means.

Personal responsibility is not part of her vocabulary.
