    Used to love his music.
Didn't much care for his character.

Well, I didn't even care for his music, but no matter our feelings of his music or his character, how tragic to have a loved one die on Christmas Day.

For someone, who loved him dearly, Christmas Day will never be the same.

We can only pray for the family and friends that he left behind.

I hope Mr. Brown was a Christian, as I don't know. If he was, he sure is feeling good now.

He claimed Jesus Christ as his savior, everytime I saw him, and I saw him a lot. I met him once, very briefly, and he was a most gracious host. He treated his audience like they were his own family. He escorted his female back-up singers on and off the stage. He gave everything, everytime.

And his "Live at the Apollo, 1961" became the standard on how live bands are reorded, to this day. He knew the band members parts, and held them accountable.

All that being said, his lifestyle didn't reflect his faith, all the time. But he did deliver a great sermon in the "Blues Brothers" movie.

"DON'T BE LOST, WHEN THE TIIIIIIIME COMES....."

James Brown's influence on American music cannot be overstated.

The hardest working man in show biz succumbed to just that. If he would have rested as Dr.'s ordered, he may still be alive. Lesson to be learned: God puts Dr.'s here for a reason, and we should follow the wisdom granted to them by God in helping us.

Yup. People like to make fun of how others look, while hiding their own face. That's real bravery, man. Good job.

I didn't see but a piece of it from news highlights. I did see, however, President Ford's at the U.S. Capitol last night.
