Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma

    Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma under the direction of Bill Green are going to Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane, Australia, April 28-May 12.

    One of the main focuses of the trip are concerts in all three cities, all of the proceeds from which will go toward establishing new churches in the respective areas. This is the largest trip of its kind in Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma history.

    If you live in Australia, we hope that you have the opportunity to attend. As the youth would say, this singing group is "awesome"

    Yes, they're very good. Our music minister is a member and made the trip to Russia a few years ago. The Singing Churchwomen and the Oklahoma Baptist Orchestra also are treasures, as is the Bison Glee Club.

    Bill Green was interim music minister at a church I attended. I really enjoyed working with him.
