Sneaky Oklahoma dog rushed to the vet after stealing, eating 21 pacifiers

"Dovey is well on her way to recovery, and Dr. Rispoli is warning dog owners about the dangers of dogs eating the wrong thing.

“We’ve had corn cobs and socks and panties and things like that, but never 21 binkies," said Dr. Rispoli.

He says dog parents aren’t always to blame because dogs often have access to places their owners don’t think about. In this case, Dovey was taking the binkies from a counter she could reach.

“When their eating habits change, when the way they act changes, get them seen right away,” said Rogers.

“The best thing to do with any dog at home that eats anything is to pick everything up,” said Dr. Rispoli."
