President Donald Trump has gained the commitment of the Chinese government to help denuclearize North Korea and bring peace to the peninsula.

Chinese President Xi Jinping told President Trump during a phone call Wednesday that Beijing is willing to work with the U.S. to end Kim Jong Un's nuclear missile program through peaceful measures, according to Fox News.

"China insists on realizing the denuclearization of the peninsula ... and is willing to maintain communication and coordination with the American side over the issue on the peninsula," Xi was quoted as saying by state media.

President Trump said on Twitter that he "had a very good call last night with the President of China concerning the menace of North Korea."

Less than a week after Chinese President Xi Jinping met with President Donald Trump, a North Korean flotilla carrying thousands of tons of coal was rejected by Chinese authorities according to an exclusive report from Reuters.

Reuters reports "China's customs department issued an official order on April 7 telling trading companies to return their North Korean coal cargoes, said three trading sources with direct knowledge of the order."

The cargo ships are now heading home to the port of Nampo.

The rejection shows that the Chinese government is making good on a ban it imposed on North Korean coal following a number of ballistic missile tests carried out by the communist government in Pyongyang.

The ban is a massive blow to North Korea, as coal is the nation's top export and Chine it's number one customer.

Whenever Trump talked about "winning" or "you're going to get sick of winning so much" it was in the context of jobs, economy, lower taxes, etc. Basically domestic economic reasons. It was not China denying a Korean coal boat from landing.
