Bobby Bare - Sleeper Wherever I Fall

A highly underrated album. For my money, by far his best album after the 60s.

I recently "discovered" Hound Dog. Hailing from Japan and seeming to have arched their popularity sometime in the late '80s to early '90s. Examples of their work I have been enjoying recently are their songs
"FLY" -
"ROCKS" -
and "ROAD" -

(Yes, they are capitalized like that )

Another great group I have been listening to is a Christian troupe out of Texas - The Followers Whistling They made their first release is available for FREE on Noisetrade right now (with a suggested tip of $6). Their lead singer, Josh White, also has an EP of his own available on Noisetrade. Both are highly recommended!

Currently, I am super stuck on Coheed and Cambria's new album. "Colours" is my favorite song on the album and I've been listening to it on repeat. It's nice to get another dose of what their story is about and follow the concept.

I'm currently connected to my Spotify so I enjoy a variety of music but these days I like to know what the youth are listening to so I listen to mainstream pop, hip-hop and indie. I'm loving Selena Gomez's new album especially the song Same Old Love. Also, Justin Bieber is getting good with his music just listen to I'll Show You. Finally I think Adele's Hello is better than her previous singles because it isn't as sad anymore.

On Spotify I was randomly listening to some friend's playlists and this is about what it was made up of...

Pedro the Lion (Indie Alt-Rock) - It's Hard To Find A Friend
Sufjan Stevens (Indie Folk) - Seven Swans
Bob Dylan (Folk Rock) - Shot of Love
Mutemath (Blues-y Alternative Art Rock?) - Odd Soul

On my own it has pretty much been Mozart's Don Giovanni and The Allman Brothers' Eat a Peach, with The Everly Brothers Roots sprinkled in between :D

Dustin Kensrue - "Consider the Ravens" and "Please Come Home"

Dustin lead worship at one of Mars Hill's campus's in Seattle... But don't let that tarnish his reputation! ;) Great Indie-Folk Christian stuff coming from him, his guitar, and a tambourine! :D
