I'm sure someone good at it could go through and caricature the entire congress in that way, not that it would mean much, or that we'd all get it.

Funnier still are some of the nicknames. Da Nang Blumenthall is my favorite so far, but it's the context that makes it so: 'Oh, yeah, I guess I forgot--I didn't actually go to Nam, much less fight.' He needs another, and maybe someone has done it already, but one involving 'falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus' would be quite fitting for him.

Yeah, I guess one is always lying (the Reps, according to you) and the other can never tell the truth (guess that leaves the Dems). But we mustn't forget they're all political excretions, right? And then of course there's the MSM who just can't help but fake it. It's those Freudian slips I like to listen for.

It is important to consider and you are partially right. Jesus talked with all kinds, even Pharisees and Sadducees and other religious leaders. What Jesus could not countenance was condemning others, abandoning others, abusing others, causing others to sin, leading others astray--oh, and of course using religion as a way to make money off of others (and greed in general). Obviously not a complete list, but enough to see that there are some fundamental concerns beyond what you noted.
