South Carolina beat Florida 5 to 2. Two SEC teams in the finals. SEC isn't just football, they have been doing well in baseball for years and look at the number of basketball championships they have won.

South Carolina became the first team to ever go 10-0 in an NCAA tournament and the first since Oregon State in 2007 to go unbeaten in a CWS.

Happy for South Carolina and sad for my Gators.

Well, I'm a Clemson fan, BUT since the Gamecocks were not playing the Tigers, I'm extremely happy for them and proud of them!

Not only that, but the 2011 NBA draft saw more players from the SEC chosen than any other conference.

Back to baseball: Dave Serrano hired at UT to bring the BaseVols back their swagger. No question the SEC is top drawer.
