Southern Democrat Rebukes Trump for Lax Church Attendance

Not for any reason other than interesting trivia, but we live about five minutes away from Mar-a-Lago and we pass by the church he goes to down here all the time. It's a beautiful church, but relatively small, considering.

Assuming Trump is a believer, the obvious would be to remind people of President Reagan, who stated that one of the biggest disappointments of his presidency was that he could not be part of a local church, for security reasons and for fear of being a distraction.

I think it's interesting that this Democrat, most likely not saved, given what we know about Democrats, is holding Trump to a higher standard than even God holds him to.

While it's true that a believer should desire to be with the body and desire to be part of corporate worship, and it's true that the Bible tells us not to engage in the willful and habitual forsaking of the assembly of believers, it doesn't really tell us a whole lot beyond that.

There is no command, "You shall attend church this many times" or "Yea, on this day shall you attend church".

Instead, it's a heart and conscience issue. And while I won't judge Trump for that, I can't help chuckling at the irony of the Democrat who, most likely, supports all manner of wickedness, holding Trump to an even higher standard than God does.

Very well said, JDF. It's very easy to sit back and take potshots and public people, like this politician did. The truth is, he has no idea how much time Trump spends with Barron, as its likely kept very private. Presidents don't like to give out their itinerary.

What I would like to see is the Church praying for Trump, and showing him the respect and honor Romans 13:7 commands. That would please God, and would likely have wonderful ramifications for our country.

According to today's WSJ, Bannon is on the outs with the Breitbart ownership.

But he had to know that there would be retaliation right?

In the Batman movie, “The Dark Night” I seem to recall a scene where the Joker character just burns large amounts of cash money and somebody asks why did he do this, what is his motivation, the answer as I recall was, some people just like to watch the world burn.

Even if that lie were true, don't you think that's a step up from child murderer? I guess in your world, things are a bit jumbled.
No “even ifs” about it. Google the Access Hollywood video. Now, would you want That Guy anywhere near your wife or daughter?

Yes, I would trust Trump around my wife and daughter, kids and even my unborn children. I know this is all lies. Considering how you behave here, I can't say the same for you.

SNIP the guy has proven himself to be a cheat to his wives (that’s plural) and he even sited that he doesn’t have a problem with seducing married women. He is even a sneak about it because when he was on a ski vacation with Ivana he had Marla Maples in the next cabin so he could stupp her.... wether you understand that or not, that is called adultery. And this is all on the record. Admit it, the guys a creep.

BTW, the classic position of all liberals is they are not pro-abortion. From Obama, to Hillary to Trump in the 80s and 90s, they all claim to be against abortion. They just do nothing to make it illegal, and fight those trying to make it illegal at every turn.

When the media turned on Trump it was not because he was obnoxious. He's been like that since the late 70s. The media turned on Trump when he began agreeing with Christians on critical issues like abortion. And that's when I started supporting him and praying for him.
