Stanley Kurtz, senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, spoke to Mark Levin about the "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule" (AFFH) added by former President Barack Obama to the 1968 Fair Housing Act, which the conservative scholar said has aimed to expand federal influence over suburbia.

Kurtz said in an interview airing Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on "Life, Liberty & Levin" that Obama and his wing of the Democratic Party viewed suburbs as "fundamentally unjust" communities that prevent taxation from flowing into the urban cities they surround.

On Thursday, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Dr. Ben Carson announced that he is stripping Obama's AFFH Rule from the Fair Housing Act, saying the rule "was an overreach of unelected Washington bureaucrats into local communities" -- a point echoed by Kurtz.

People need to be paying attention to critical things like this that Biden has told us he would run with. It will be Obama 2.0, & the gang is all here. This will insure that low income housing will go up in suburban neighborhoods, guaranteeing a decline in standards of living for those who sought life away from the city. The left wants everybody packed in & under their thumb. It’s called control, & they want it. Who in their right mind could vote for these people?

If people think back, not so long ago, politics was not something that really consumed our lives. If a dem or repub won & we didn’t like the outcome, we would go the other way. That all changed with the ‘change’ Obama brought. He divided us at every turn, set the country back by 50 years. It was all intended to bring us to where we are now. They have almost succeeded in the fundamental change that they desire, which will bring misery to all......except those holding the levers. Bad factions have aligned to bring our destruction, they work together for now, but down the road they will cut each other. Defund the police? That screams UN forces. Another give away of our sovereignty. That will be more costly to us than any bad apple on any police force.

If we allow this to come upon us, it will be a dark future for our grandchildren. I always say I’m glad I’m old & had the best life being born & raised here. I love the flag & the country. I’m sad at the prospects for the grandchildren.

Blame it on Obama. That's hilarious. Couldn't you fit Hillary in there, too?

The reason why we are so consumed by politics nowadays started with the 24 hour cable channel news cycle about 25 years ago, widespread use of email about 20 years ago, the widespread accessibility of the internet, use of smartphones, the rise of Facebook, the rise of Twitter, etc.

This is a forum. We all have a right to an opinion. Obama-worst President of my lifetime. Trump-the best of my lifetime, because he has laid bare the corruption that is living within.

Sure. But opinions are not facts. The reason we have politics on our minds 24/7/365 is not because of Obama. It's because of CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, the Internet, Facebook, Twitter, Baptist Board, etc. etc. etc. That is a fact.

Obama-worst President of my lifetime.

Yeah, that's called an opinion.

I got him at 2nd worst in my lifetime (Jimmy Carter is #1; Carter is also #1 on my list for worst ex-President)
