BEN ROETHLISBERGER [LINK] was in a motorcycle accident this morning,
He was not wearing a helmet.

The mandatory helmet law was repealed recently in Pennsylvania  (could it be to increase organ donations?)

What an idiot. You think he would have learned after Kellen Winslow's Evil Knievel stunt last year. What makes it even more stupid were his comments last year when Cowher came to him and expressed concern he wasn't wearing a helmet, that he rides in groups, he doesn't take risks, so therefore it's safe.

Why would they not include this in the contract the way the Browns did with Winslow? At least the Browns were able to take back his bonus, and extend his contract for him to make the money back.

I hate to see anyone injured, but this may be a good thing for the Bengals this year.

Early reports are that Big Ben will probably be back playing long before Carson Palmer. He only has a broken jaw and a broken nose. TOUCHDOWN! :praise:

But he should be a few pounds lighter since one has a hard time keeping up their weight when sipping their meal through a straw. :tongue3:

Rumor had it that he may have injured a knee, but it was only road rash.

As far as him being an idiot, time will tell. If he still rides his bike without a helmet then he's a sub-idiot.
