The Supreme Court is considering if student loan forgiveness policy of Biden is legal

Two thoughts:

1) In order to receive the forgiveness of your student Loan - they you are required to forgive all loans owed you!

2) I wonder what those students would say if Biden Decreed that all overdue alimony owed to divorced Ex-wives were to be forgiven!

Why student loans should be forgiven

There are currently some 26 million loan forgiveness application

What is wrong with borrowing money, then never paying it back? Duh

What is wrong with playing favorites to buy votes? Duh

The real mystery is why did about 80 million voters vote for Mr. Biden?

It would be legal if congress voted on it and made it so. Remember, Congress at least got kick backs from the banks for the loans from the get go anyway.

Bidon doesnt have the power. Congress does. Congress should forgive the heavy burdensome debt. The banks have always made out like bandits anyway. Excuss me. Bankers make much more than bandits

Yes, if Congress voted - it would be legal - but that would NOT make it right!.
They knew the terms when they took out the loan. What would be wrong if they took a semester off to work to save up money - or maybe just take a couple of courses. Or they could join the Army and get the GI bill!

So, you say that the burdensome debt should be forgiven.

Does the same go for fathers who have to pay burdensome spousal alimony and child support?

True, unless they were predatory loans with unfair intrest rates.

They could not have afforded to go to college without the loan.

Sounds like good options for some.

If they were predatory loans then yes. I do not have first hand experience but others suggest that it is. Huge cost that seem heavily burdensome. School loans are a great thing. But there should be limits on intrest rates and things like that. Of course it could be a great deal for the college bound student. If its fair then it should be paid back.

No. But each case is different.

I want Mortgage Forgiveness.

Oh....and Auto Loan Forgiveness.

And give me an offset for exercising too little and eating too much while you're at it.

If you cant afford to go to college - you wait until you can afford it.
That is a major problem in this country - spending money you dont have.

When I got laid off my job - the first thing I did was to cut my cable.........
