I'm performing a wedding for a couple in a couple of months that were planning on going to a marriage conference...but can no longer attend. They are members of a church with no pastor, mainly because i have moved to a new church in a new state.
I want to suggest to them a few books to read before i get down there ASAP and meet with them, any suggestions from this group?

Gary Smalley's two books..."What Every Woman wishes her Husband Knew" and its opposite "What every husband wishes his wife knew".

Also Debi Pearl's book "Created to be his helpmeet". I don't agree with everything the Pearl's put out, but this particular book is a good book for ladies. Starting out with it might stave off alot of potential issues.
