Knowing what these folks claim to profess does not alter the fact that they are mostly liberals, ruling the law did not mean what it said, or that things not said must be inferred. Clearly our protections under the Constitution are worthless if liberals have their way.

Has it ever crossed anyone's mind that America is under dictatorship from the Supreme court. They have the last say about everything, there not accountable to know one and they rule over us as they please.

Well if we are its the most passive dictatorship I've ever seen...

That said, i understand your point. The judiciary has always been considered the most dangerous of the three branches. The check and balance is supposed to be the legislature and executive appointment system. Few would have ever imagined things would have gotten out of hand like this.

Do you think the entire SCOTUS ought to be impeached?

According to Article III, Section 1 of the US Constitution, the members of the SCOTUS "....shall hold their offices during good Behaviour...."

Darth Vader Ginsburg is not long for this world. We'd better hope that the next justice nominated knows how to read.

All Christians are allowed to post in this part of the board. Look at the heading for the section that Politics falls under.

We cannot impeach anyone on the left unless we have more than 2/3 in the House and Senate who are tea party Republicans. But you are right, SM (post #8), we stopped being a representative government when folks say words only mean what they want them to mean. Liberal is as liberal does, whether interpreting scripture or the Constitution.

None of us knows when God has had enough. Kennedy, who lead the pro gay marriage crowd, was appointed by a Republican. That says more to me than anything. Over half of the Republicans in Congress either supported or were for this ruling. We in Kentucky had a Constitutional Amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman. We the people voted on it. Now the state is forced to eradicate that amendment. No one party is blame free on this one.

To me, this is not a Christian issue. It was disgusting when I was lost. It is just unnatural. I would not be surprised the Lords displeasure with this manifest in some form. Fifty years ago this kind of activity was kept in the shadows, because we were ashamed of it. Now not only are we proud of it, it has become the law of the land. Its one thing to sin, it is quite another to rub God's nose in it.

How much more evil can we get? In the OT, the Lord crushed nations for a lot less sin and a much lower standard of living. I have no idea if this is enough to provoke the Lord or not, but keep an eye open.

Yes, one party is responsible for mandating homosexual marriage. The Democrats! Yes there are plenty of Rinos in Congress, but Tea Party candidates can replace them.

Maybe some of you think this was inevitable, maybe some amusing, but this headline has more significance than the Kennedy assassination, the moon landing, Nixon resignation, and even 9-11. Not since Rod vs Wade has this put in place such a black eye on this nation. I wonder how many of your arm chair posters have any survival skills.?

Professing Christians who vote for liberals are the ones lacking survival skills. I remember the line, paraphrasing, from WWII, they came after the Jews and I was not a Jew, they came after the Catholics, and I was not a Catholic, they came after me and I was alone...
