    The Orangemen baskedball team is having a luncheon for charity
    BUT only women are permitted to attend.

    Sounds sexist to me!

    Now if they had an event that only men could attend -
    I wonder how loud the NOW would be yelling


    (BTW - the university no longer uses the term "Orange-men" as that excluded women.

    Syracuse U became the "Orangemen" in 1890
    In the Early 2000's - All 21 Syracuse teams will now be called the Orange as opposed to Orangemen and Orangewomen.

    Not saying it couldn't happen, but they are not even ranked in the AP Top 25 preseason poll, didn't get a single vote.

    ITS pre-season - and their first few games will be easy one. I will wait till the ACC season begins - then.......

    I think they are # 14 as of this week.
    I was really surprised they beat NC
