    Why? You and your silly questions. It's just plain common sense. BJU is not a SBC school so why would there be a large population of SBC? If you want SBC go to southern.

    NOT a silly Question!!! There are probally many SBC kids, for one reason or another who do not desire to go to a SBC school. Thats like saying BJU is not a IFB school so why would there be a large population of IFB? If you want IFB go to Hyles-Anderson, or a host of other IFB.

    Now, you stated you talked to a few folks- and that most of them were not SBC. So when I asked how many of the 3,000 students you actually talked to was a very excellent measure. The High School I went to had about 2,000 students - and though I knew a good number - it was probably less then 10% of the total school.

    So what I am trying to say - is that your small sample is totally inadequate. It is possible that you are totally correct- but it needs to be based on fact.

    Are we defining congregations by evangelistic fads nowadays?

    BJU is not a Baptist school, but my guess is that a significant proportion of its students come from Baptist churches.

    Therefore if one is not doing the "Way of the Master" they are not doing Biblical Evangelism. And you wonder why people think you think that WOTM is the only way when you post stuff like this. BTW this is also an example of the legalistic mindset that JonC called you out on.

    Some Southern Baptists are quite fundamentalist. (btw the Convention as a whole has repeatedly passed resolutions on abstinence from alcohol) BJU has had Southern Baptists on its board, such as Strom Thurmond; and currently has a partnership with the Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools:

    The only form of biblical evangelism found in the bible is the discipleship I call "Each one win one" as outlined in another post of mine. :)
