When they were holding them all over I considered going, but went to the local website and there were all sorts of groups that I wasn't sure about. Did not know that I cared to associate with some of them.

    I'm active in a local 9/12 group.

I'dbeskepticalofthatwebsite.Thereisno"Official Home of the Tea Party Movement". The whole point is to keep it grass roots and local.

    Salty,
Is this mutiple choice or must I make up my mind?

    :tongue3:

I'm taking a course on the constitution and some of the group are involved in 'tea partys' locally. The people I know who participate have a good reputation. I'm not sure about 'joining', yet. It appears this is a movement more or less around common ground on taxes and spending.... and not a fomal membership

We don't need a tea party where I live but if we did I would sure be active in it.

I don't know enough about them or the "movement" to be a part of it. I am all for helping real change come about, but I am a person who has to know as much as possible about something (part of the flp-side of the gift of teaching).
