    No way!!!

Either way, that is not what Bush has meant by "Stay the Course". He simply meant "stay the course, to persevere; endure to completion".(from dictionary.com)

I don't say stuff too good also. Might be that's why I ain't got no big problem with President Bush.

Yeah, to persevere, stubbornly continuing the same failing policy. Do you seriously consider his policy in Iraq is succeeding?

 You must write better than you speak then.

No, and neither does he, that is why they continue to make adjustments. That's the whole point, keep doing the same thing or get out are not the only options.

Are you talking about the double-negative?

"Sounds like the Bush i new he was" He will stand up & say one thing then turn around & say he didn't say it. But the thing is he forgets what lies he has told, so don't you think he should start keeping a book so he will know maybe?

Your only problem here, Vera, is that Bush did not say to George S. what MP says he did.

This entire thread is based on a lie as it's main premise.

Baloney, these parties have not held power, therefore could not exhibit the total depravity that democrats and republicans have. We are all sinful, therefore no institution will ever be perfect. However, we as Americans have a right to expect a minimal of decency from our parties and politicians we elect to the public trust. The two parties fail miserably at this. They need to be replaced, and if the ones replacing them dont work, try again.

It may be "pathetic", but I think I made a pretty good case for it. I'm kind of proud of myself. Most of the time, I am totally inept, this time I believe I was partially astute.

Yes, your attempt was good and brave, but you simply didn't have much to work with. By that I mean you argued well, but your position, that the words changed meaning, was untenable.

Btw, I have never noticed anything wrong with your writing - maybe you're too hard on yourself.

    Daisy,

You scare me. No offense, but I think I love you. :love2:

Give me a little more time, you'll see how wrong my writing can be.

Ha! You're a sucker for a little flattery.

Seriously, it's fine (most of us are wrong a good deal of the time).

Oh, okay. I'll let that one go then. But even my grammar is usually pretty good, but on issues of substance, you know I am never wrong. That's just the way it is. :tonofbricks:

The meaning is that you actually believe there is a difference between the two parties which keeps them in power.
