I don't believe the swearing in on a Bible is mentioned anywhere in the Constitution. It was merely a practice, not a requirement. One could simply affirm their intent to abide by what the Constitution says.

Unfortunately, the great majority of elected officials have sworn to uphold the constitution by placing their hand on a Bible, and then they go right ahead and break their oath. I hope God holds every one of them accountable for their blatant lie.

I think Indianapolis Congressman Andre Carson used the Koran to swear on so his allegiance would be to Allah, not the triune God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
