    Luk 3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

God just got a head start on Texas. ;)

    robycop3 is KJVO.

You know, if you took Alaska, and cut it in half, Texans would still have the largest mouths in the union.

We have a right to them.

You're just jealous 'cause you're not from Texas.

    But I understand.

I am from Lebanon, Middle East.
Never been to Texas but have many friends there and work for a company based in Houston. I respect the place and would love to go someday.

I am what you would call a KJVO and you better believe I can defend that ground in the proper setting.

The Bible is clear as crystal:
God is absolutely sovereign and man retains his free-choice and responsibility; simultaneously.
It sounds like a paradox I know. But it's there.

Texas born and bred. Always lived here except for a 26 year tour in the Navy. Started reading other versions when I got interested in the Bible but I am a confirmed KJVO now. Don't concern myself with what you want to use.... that is your choice but, I just love the flavor and class of the language in the KJV. And don't have any trouble understanding what God wants me to understand. And yes, soverign grace in my understanding of scripture. If that makes you want to call me a Calvanist.... go ahead. But don't be suprised if I call you an Arminian if you disagree.

I still get a chuckle over those who say they are neither C or A in their theology. You may not like the label but trust me you are one or the other.

You bet I'd rather be there than Illinois. But that's not saying much. Texas is a long ways from Wisconsin...

Wow, I can't believe this silly thread is still alive! kill it kill it! The original intent was that a Texan, is so proud of his state, the Calvinists & KJVO's are soooo convinced they're right, they'll let you know who they are and what they are, real soon.

Before the powers that be murder this thread, I'd like to add, although I've encountered many Texans who volunteer where they're from real soon, I haven't met too many people that say, "I'm from North Dakota", or "I'm from Iowa", anyhow there's prob more people in Dallas than those two states anyway. Moreover while I've met Calvinists who tell you quickly that they are indeed Calvinists, while I've never met an Arminian who said so, and finally, many KJVO's let you know that they're "Bible Believer's" while I haven't met anyone who says, "I am a multi-versionists"

Hey, threads don't have to die before twenty pages!

    Let's keep praising Texas...

A rich Texan rushes into an airport and breathlessly demands "Gimme a ticket!"

The clerk politely replies "Certainly, sir, where would you like to go?"

He blurts "It don't matter--I got business all over!!"

What was the joke I used to hear? Do you know why all Texans are going to heaven? Because none of them have reached the age of accountability. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] :D

Do you know why Texans are so proud of their state? 'Cuz nobody else is!!! [IMG] ;)

I have never known a Calvinist to come right out and say, I am Reformed or Calvinist of Sovereign Grace or whatever. And I know PLENTY of KJVO who also do not come right out and say they are KJVO.

Although I suppose there are many in all three categories who do this, hence the purpose of the OP. I jes ain't never met 'em.
